According to an Associated Press story on CNN.com, once President Bush signs the bill, six lawsuits brought by local governments against the industry will be dismissed. CNN Also this week, the House approved a measure, known as the “cheeseburger bill,” that would end lawsuits by people blaming fast-food companies for their obesity. CNN
