Store keys and access cards at unattended entry points
TRAC-Tube, a stainless steel station, stores 2 keys or access cards. Enhances access control at unattended, remote buildings or utility stations. Also ideal for allowing facility access to firefighters, police officers, security guards, or after-hour delivery crews. Offers a secure and convenient alternative to on-site management of access cards or mechanical keys. Station measures about 6 ins. long by 3 ins. in dia. Use mortar, cement, or epoxy to recess station into any wall measuring at least 7 ins. thick. Works with companion TRACkey. To use, authorized individual places special key fob on tamper-resistant lid, turns in counter-clockwise direction, inserts valid TRACkey into station, and enters PIN code. L.E.D. then flashes green, signaling user to pull on TRACkey, open drawer, and remove enclosed facility key or access card. TRACkey and station record date, time, and serial number of all access attempts. Electronic, PIN-controlled key powers station. Needs no internal batteries or hard-wired computer connections. Facility manager can administer system from any Internet-connected personal computer.
