Denver has received a $418,000 grant from the Justice Department, which it will use to apprehend burglary suspects using DNA evidence.
Denver has received a $418,000 grant from the Justice Department, which it will use to apprehend burglary suspects using DNA evidence. According to the Rocky Mountain News, the money will go toward hiring a full-time DNA analyst, a prosecutor dedicated to burglary cases and a research coordinator to track the programs effectiveness, as well as new equipment and training.
