To address the growing interest in reusing wastewater for irrigation and other needs, engineers at Omaha, Neb.-based HDR wrote a book for the Kansas City, Mo.-based American Public Works Association (APWA) entitled, “Good Until The Last Drop: A Practitioner’s Guide to Water Reuse.” The 96-page book includes guidelines on selecting infrastructure, maintaining water quality, finding financing sources and setting fair rates. It also describes the legal considerations of reusing wastewater and includes several case studies. Members of select organizations receive a $10 discount off the $55 book.
