Ultra Elite safeguards firefighters and other first responders from chemical, biological, radiological, and nuclear (CBRN) agents, such as those used during a terrorist attack. Removes harmful gases, vapors, and particulates to provide user with safe breathing air. Built-in canister contains chemical sorbents and a filter to attract, retain, and neutralize contaminants. Facepiece consists of soft, black Hycar rubber, with a large lens that offers 83% unimpeded vision. To simplify user training and fit-testing, same facepiece serves as a self-contained breathing apparatus or air-purifying respirator for high or low concentrations of contaminants. Available with 5-point rubber or Speed-On head harness. Also features centrally located, mechanical speaking diaphragm that ensures clear communications. For increased communication capabilities, add optional ClearCommand amplifier. Gas mask exceeds performance requirements of new NIOSH CBRN standard.
