Delaware plans to file an action with the Supreme Court as early as this week to prevent New Jersey’s installation of a liquefied natural gas terminal near the Delaware River, citing violation of the state’s Coastal Zone Act. According to The Philadelphia Inquirer, a provision in the energy bill passed last week by the U.S. Senate would grant siting and construction authority of LNG import facilities to the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission.
