Natural wonder
This week's photo was taken by Dean Ellis, fire chief for the Idaho Falls Fire Department. The misty photo shows Upper Mesa Falls located near Ashton, Idaho. Osprey and other birds of prey — such as bald eagles, peregrine falcons, turkey vultures and hawks — are often seen fishing below the falls, which drop 114 feet.
