Five members of Ohio’s Summit County Council enjoyed coffee and eggs together at an Akron restaurant last Saturday. According to the Akron Beacon Journal, at the same time they also violated the state’s open meetings law. Under the law, residents must have 24 hours notice of a meeting of the majority of council members so they may have an opportunity to attend. Akron Beacon Journal
