Longer, lower drums improve mix during transit and on site
Schwing/Stetter Series II STM Conventional and Booster Truck Mixers feature lower drum angles that improve water flow during transit and remixing on-site to ensure a homogenous mix at discharge. Longer, narrower drum also improves drivability with lower center of gravity for load stability and enhanced visibility for maneuvering. Huck bolting attaches mixer to frame. Hydraulic cylinder for pressurizing booster axle has internal accumulator that eliminates excess hoses and fittings and provides quick response to variable road conditions. Cab-mounted pressure gauge monitors adjustable pressures to meet state and federal highway limits. Electronic interlock ensures that chutes are in center position before booster activates. Large discharge chutes have greasable bearing for smooth rotation and a chute lock. Ladder angles toward operator for climbing to wash stand. Splitter hose allows washing from upper platform. A 125-gal., pressurized water tank and 25-ft. cable remote are standard.
