Denver’s Regional Transportation District’s (RTD) request for $4 million in homeland security grant money to buy video cameras for all of its buses was denied because fire and police equipment are a higher priority in Colorado.

Denver’s Regional Transportation District’s (RTD) request for $4 million in homeland security grant money to buy video cameras for all of its buses was denied because fire and police equipment are a higher priority in Colorado. According to the Rocky Mountain News, RTD will instead outfit all new buses with cameras. Rocky Mountain News
