The Akron, Ohio, City Council has passed two rules that will drastically curtail the parking of large vehicles, such as semis, in city neighborhoods. According to the Akron Beacon Journal, the first rule is a zoning amendment that bans parking tractors of semis in driveways, and the second rule updates the city’s parking regulations about most other types of vehicles weighing 9,000 pounds or more. Such vehicles will no longer be allowed in residential driveways. Akron Beacon Journal
