For the last two years, a citizens’ committee, team of consultants and the city Parks and Community Services Department have been studying what to do about parking at the zoo in Fort Worth, Texas. The combination of the zoo, parking shortages and the narrow entry into the park often meant streets and interstates were turned into virtual parking lots. After spending tens of thousands of dollars on reports, the issue is finally in the City Council’s hands.
