Pittsburgh’s budgetary problems are forcing the city to scale back its garbage service. According to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, the city will soon stop garbage pickups for approximately 700 non-residential customers. Pittsburgh also will reduce street sweeping and the emptying of downtown trash containers, and will no longer provide free removal of graffiti on private property. For more information, visit
