After a series of July storms wreaked havoc on the Windy City, the Chicago Park District is seeking the helping hand of Uncle Sam. According to the Chicago Tribune, the district is asking for federal disaster relief aid to help pay for the cleanup of more than $6 million worth of storm damage to city parks. Storms on July 5 and July 17 leveled more than 750 trees in four parks, and ripped the roof off of a park fieldhouse built in 1905, the paper reports. For more information, visit
