Supervise staff at municipal landfill with more than 10 years life and assist in the Master Plan Development for adjacent site with more than 60 years additional life. This landfill recently won State award as best landfill in its class. Ensures compliance with DEQ permit. Current operating budget of $1 Million. Reports to Assistant Director of Operations in Public Works. Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or Public Administration or closely related field and 4 years experience related to solid waste programs or equivalent combination of experience and education w/experience substituting for education on a one to one basis. Salary: $39,410 -$55,686. Closing date: December 14, 2001.
