Online resource available
The Center for Technology in Government at the University of Albany in New York has created a Web-based resource designed to help government professionals improve the way they use information. The resource, “Insider’s Guide to Using Information in Government,” draws on university projects to provide advice about developing strategies, policies, skills and technology for government programs; using data; and estimating program costs.
The resource is available at www.ctg.albany.edu/guides/usinginfo/. The Web site includes links to white papers, academic and trade journal articles, helpful tools and additional government information.
